The Fundy Trail Parkway is one of the greatest achievements in the history of tourism development in New Brunswick. The 30km drive offers spectacular coastal views of the Bay of Fundy and a host of cultural and natural experiences in one of the last vestiges of unspoiled wilderness along the entire North American Seaboard. This Master Plan provides a blueprint for priority investments over the next ten years to transform the parkway into a profitable destination attraction which protects the natural environment and allows the surrounding communities and organizations to partner in its success. The Draft Master Plan was completed in 2020 working with A.D. Fiander Associates Ltd. Previous work on the parkway includes a Master Plan in 1997 for the province to integrate the parkway and the Fundy Footpath and from 1997 to 2019 in the design of landscape treatments, trails, infrastructure and indigenous planting to naturalize land disturbed during construction.
