Saint John, NB
Selected by the City of Saint John to develop the urban design and guidelines for the largest single urban development project in the City’s history. The firm conducted all the public open houses and developed a digital animation of the proposed scheme, which includes: a new provincial courthouse, a new police headquarters, a new parking garage, street realignments, traffic assessments, streetscaping, a revitalized arts centre and a public plaza.
This project involved complex scheduling and coordination of two large building projects (Police Headquarters and a Courthouse)and a new street and underground services for this urban plaza to form a centrepiece for the City. Glenn Group acted as lead consultant and managed the construction contract. The project was brought in under budget, on schedule and with very few change orders. The project took one year to complete.
