The Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation is a state-of-the-art neurological rehabilitation centre adjacent the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. The therapeutic park provides an outdoor place for patients to learn new mobility skills with assistance from physiotherapists and occupational therapists as they adapt to their new challenges in a fully inclusive garden environment. The all-season garden includes a playground, gazebo, artificial turf for therapy sessions, shade shelters and practice ramps, steps, handrails and a mix of walking surfaces to prepare patients for the outdoor environment.
